Neon Rainbowfish (Pair)

The Neon Rainbowfish (Melanotaenia praecox) brings a splash of brilliance to any aquarium with its shimmering neon blue body and vibrant red or orange fins. Native to the rivers of New Guinea, this species is admired for both its color and personality.
Neon Rainbowfish are energetic swimmers and prefer being in groups, where their colors intensify and behavior becomes more lively. They thrive in spacious, well-oxygenated tanks with moderate water flow and plenty of open swimming space.
This hardy and peaceful fish coexists well with tetras, barbs, and other rainbowfish, making it a top choice for both beginner and advanced aquarists.
