Blue Marff Cichlid

The Blue Marff Cichlid (Metriaclima sp.) is a Lake Malawi species celebrated for its vivid metallic blue body and patterned fins. These semi-aggressive cichlids are hardy and adapt well to community African cichlid tanks when proper space is provided.

Blue Marff Cichlids thrive in rocky aquariums with caves, where males can establish territories. Their active swimming behavior and striking coloration make them a centerpiece in any tank. Males display brighter colors when healthy and during breeding, creating a stunning visual effect.
